In Memory of My Dad: June 30, 1928 - May 15, 2010

I will likely post a small tribute later this week.

There are two query revises in the queue that I will also post on Monday and Tuesday.

Right now, I have a lot of phone calls to make...

I feel for you, Phoenix. Lost my dad 5 1/2 years ago now. It's a very different grieving. At least it was for me.

My heart goes out to you. Take a break if you need to or jump back in if that helps. We'll be here either way.

So sorry. Don't worry about the queries. Worry about yourself.

Phoenix,

Please know that a lot of people are thinking of you and wishing you well, as you go through this.

Take care, and take comfort in the fact that he passed on knowing he begat a perfect daughter.

I'm so sorry.

If there's anything we can do, let us know.

Thank you all for your words of comfort and support.

Although living out where I do I'm far from coworkers and family, with virtual friends like you, I feel I'm just across the street from the best support group possible. I just need to reach out and you're all right there. It's a nice, safe, comfortable feeling.

And yeah, EE, I guess dads always think their daughters are pretty perfect. Thanks for helping me remember that.

I am sorry.

You're a great person, so he must have been a great father.
